After wearing honey blonde hair for years, my client was ready for a richer and healthier look. We decided to transition her color into a deep chocolate brunette while reshaping the haircut to restore movement and remove damaged ends.
To create the new brunette base, I used a custom Keune Tinta color formula on the roots.
Root Formula
1 oz Keune Tinta 6.1

A small amount of 0/99 Green additive was added to slightly cool the tone and neutralize excess warmth.
After establishing the base color, I applied a Keune Demi 6.19 gloss through the mid-lengths and ends. This step deepens the tone while adding shine and blending the color seamlessly throughout the hair.
To complete the transformation, we removed six inches of length and created a Butterfly Cut. This haircut allows the hair to maintain length while adding soft layered movement and body.
The final result is a rich chocolate brunette with soft butterfly layers, giving the hair more shine, healthier ends, and beautiful movement.
